I always start in pencil, then do the final inking via light box. But the Georgia sunlight shone through the closed blinds so strongly that I couldn’t see the light from the box! Fortunately, I had a dark (and holiday-appropriate) blanket to help out.
On the plus side, the surface has a coat of something to cushion his fall.
On the other hand, since he was swallowed by a demon treasure box, he's probably thining more along the lines of "I AM NOW COATED IN MONSTER GOO AAAAGHHHH"
That kind of money would make anyone dizzy and now he can OH MY GOSH DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON THE GHOST DO YOU THINK FALLING NEXT TO THE TREASURE WAS A COINCIDENCE IT’S A TRAAAAAP
And now there's a ghost showing him the treasure. But, considering he's been attacked by monsters and had his house burned down by a dragon, I'm going to have to quote Con Air here: "On any other day that might seem strange."
